11 staff members of the HOPE Nazareth ministry, including the whole worship team and the mother intercessors from the house of prayer, travelled to Cyprus to be part of the NET conference, led by Tom and Teresa Craig. It was all about establishing relationships and deeper connections along the Isaiah 19 Highway, praying and standing together as one for God’s redemption and reconciliation among the people groups in this region. Our worship team led a couple of sessions during the conference, which took place between the 5th and 9th of November 2024. People had come from Assyria, Israel and Egypt, and we had a deep time of intercession for every part of the region, and for the connections between the different countries. Each leader from these regions shared their heart, struggles, challenges and prayer requests, but also the testimonies of what God has been doing in that region.
Rania shared about the situation in the land of Israel, and how God has been using HOPE to bring reconciliation and healing between Jews and Arabs, connecting hearts together, to stand for the sake of restoration of the land in the midst of such a turbulent and difficult season of war with many people having lost their lives in both Israel and Gaza.
Before the conference, the Lord had laid it on Rania’s heart to bring with her a key from the house of prayer as a powerful testimony, and to give it to the people representing the house of prayer in Beirut, Lebanon. It was a golden key, as you see in the photo. Rania gave it to them as a gift, while prophesying that the Lord is going to open the gateways between the nations of Israel and Lebanon, bring healing and reconciliation, and hopefully also a peace agreement in the future after the removal of Hezbollah’s influence and power in Lebanon, that there will be initiatives of building bridges of peace between both nations. We stood as Arabs and Jews, young people and mothers all together presenting this key as a gift to the Lebanese group, who came from the Beirut House of Prayer, we spoke life and blessed each other. It was a very powerful moment, especially when realizing that the Lord had spoken to them many times through keys, and He now confirmed it to them again also through us.
After the session at the hotel, we went out together for dinner, and while we were walking together with the Lebanese Christians, we suddenly looked up and saw a sign above us saying “The Golden Key,” and it was right there in the middle of the road. It is incredible how the Lord spoke to us even through such simple things, but to us it was a huge confirmation. However, the most amazing part was that after Rania gave them that gift, one of the Lebanese ladies came to her and said, “You know, Rania, I want to give you something, too.” All of a sudden, she was putting a necklace around Rania’s neck, and in the necklace, there was a key, a beautiful golden key, and she said, “The Lord told me to get this key from my house and take it with me to the conference. I did not know whom I would be giving the key to, but when you gave that key to us, I heard the Lord saying, ‘Give this key to Rania.'” So she gave the key to Rania, and that was a confirmation to us that we had exchanged keys together both Lebanon and Israel, declaring that the gates among both nations will be opened with love and peace, and not more enmity. That was a very powerful testimony, and as we entered the conference, we felt the Lord really confirmed things, as we did this prophetic act together.
During the four days of the conference, deeper connections with other people along the Highway were also developed. There were moments of deep intercession, prayer and worship and dancing together, as we were standing together for the sake of God’s redemptive plans for the region.
