Deborah’s Clan Women’s Gathering Praise Report | April 11-12
One of the beautiful things at the gathering was that both Jewish and Arab identities had plenty of room for expression. No side felt like they had to give themselves away in order to connect, but the love of God was flowing deeply in our hearts and was expressed openly in freedom. The deep heart connection created an atmosphere of a spiritual safe womb where the Holy Spirit was welcomed to overshadow the women and deposit a seed in their hearts. He also birthed all He desired through our voices released as Deborahs.
There were a few highlights of this gathering and many unforgettable moments. One highlight was the moment when both Arab and Jewish mothers faced each other after Orna & Rania shared their hearts openly with the women about the deep work that God has done to transform each of their heart’s attitudes towards the other. Jew to Arab, and Arab to Jew. In that session, Orna shared about her journey to walking out the book of Ruth & Naomi and how the Lord transformed her heart. During this journey with a few women that were both Arab and Gentile, she began to view the “identity of Israel” from being a widow to becoming a mother. Orna also addressed her experience of heart change toward the Arab people and how she fell in love with the Arab culture.
Rania shared how her heart changed towards the Jewish people and how the Lord took her on a journey of transformation and healing. The safety that was created in the atmosphere when both of them shared their hearts prepared the stage to make a historic act of covenant making as in the book of Ruth. Rania had the Arab women stand on one side, while the Jewish women were facing the Arab women on the opposite side. They were facing one on one each other. Then the Arab women were handed necklaces which had written on them the words of Ruth 1:16, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.” On the other side, the Jewish sisters had prepared scarves as a gift to the Arab mothers. The Jewish mothers began declaring the words that Boaz said to Ruth, “May the Lord reward your labor…” (Ruth 2:12) Chaya Mizrachi took the microphone and spoke over the Arab sisters the desire of her heart that the Arab people would become part of their family, just as Naomi always called Ruth, “my daughter.” These words are precious to any Jewish mother.
On the other side, the Arab mothers declared over the Jewish mothers, while they began to cover them with the scarves as if under the shadow of the God of Israel. The Arab women put the necklaces on the neck on each Jewish sister declaring to her as Ruth said to Naomi, “your people are my people, your God my God. Where you go I will go. Where you live, I will live. Where you die, I will die.” This moment will be remembered in the book of history over both of our peoples. Where hearts were melting and tears were flowing, we saw that God was forming His one family through the Deborahs of the land choosing to walk together in loyalty and love as Ruth and Naomi did.
Another highlight was the moment of honoring the senior Arab & Jewish mothers of the land. There was a heart connection, deep appreciation and thanksgiving expressed to each senior mother who has gone before as forerunners and prepared the way for this generation. The moment of honoring them and acknowledging their labor of love was like a kiss from heaven that filled our hearts with love for each other. In this honoring ceremony, we presented to each mother, from both Arab and Jewish, a beautiful necklace that had a picture of the tree of life in it.
Our hearts are full of gratitude to the Lord and to all of those who stood with us in prayer for this breakthrough. We also want to thank all of those who have financially sown seed into this strategic and historic gathering of Deborahs.
Testimony from Sandra Teplinsky – A Jewish Spiritual Mother
1. The single greatest highlight to me was the love act of declaring Ruth scriptures with the necklaces and scarf coverings. Its power seemed to come from Holy Spirit generated genuine love without anyone artificially trying to be “prophetic.” It was beautiful and very deep, heart to heart.
2. There was a sense of empowerment of women’s voices and influence resulting from being together in unity. The unity flowed from genuine humility. This too was beautiful.
3. As a result, I perceived a release of the expression of the feminine side of God, which has been sadly lacking in some ways in this country.
4. The unique atmosphere of love was palpable. This was due partly to the strong international intercession, the careful selection of participants, the love that flowed among the leadership team members for each other, and of course, to God’s grace.
5. It was a wonderful new beginning and the best “unity” meeting of Jews and Arabs I’ve ever been to.
Testimony from Norma Sarvis – A Jewish Spiritual Mother
On Thursday and Friday of last week, I had the honor of attending a “Deborah’s Clan” gathering in a lovely hotel on the top of Mt. Precipice in Nazareth. The purpose was to call together Arab and Jewish “mothers in Israel.” Those of us invited to attend were about 25 Arab and 20 Jewish women, all in positions of leadership, multiple generations coming together from the north to the south of Israel.
I have attended a number of Jewish/Arab women’s gatherings, but this was by far the most natural, unforced, prophetic. At one point, the Jewish women honored our Arab sisters by speaking over them the words which were spoken in ancient times over the Gentile Ruth: “The LORD repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.” (Ruth 2:12). The Arab mothers then spoke over the Jewish mothers: “Wherever you go, I will go; and wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God.” (Ruth 1:16)
There were inspired speakers, with messages in English and Hebrew and Arabic; there was wonderful worship in English, Hebrew, and Arabic; there was deep prayer in Hebrew, English, and Arabic. And there was so much love and unity. At times I wept as I realized what God was doing in our midst.
The result was a clear realization that no matter our age, we are the current mothers in Israel, we have a voice and God is at this time calling forth that voice to be heard. There were prayers and declarations towards this goal, all done in great humility, while at the same time honoring our brothers, the men whom God has set in leadership here. We sensed the importance of each needing the other in order to accomplish God’s purposes in the land. We left feeling greatly encouraged and empowered. I am so thankful to have had the privilege of being a part of this!
Testimony from Margaret AbuGhazaleh – An Arab Spiritual Mother
My experience at Deborah’s Clan was wonderful. The flow of the Spirit which brought such unity among us as with all our different backgrounds, was amazing. There was so much love and acceptance, even among those who had never met before. But I feel like one of the main things God accomplished was the raising of awareness of the mothers that He has been preparing from both sides, so that we can walk together and mother this land together. We became very aware that none of us can fully mother without the others and that we need to carry this mantle together. It was so clear that God does not want us to do this alone, each one in her own sphere, but to carry the land together for the completion of the birthing of His purposes.
In the short time we had together we saw the Lord tear down the remaining wall of separation between us, so we can walk together in full freedom, carrying each other in our hearts.
Deborah’s Clan | Women’s Gathering | April 11-12
“Village life ceased, it ceased in Israel, until I, Deborah, arose, arose a mother in Israel.”
Judges 5:7
From April 11-12, we will have our first Deborah’s Clan gathering of spiritual mothers. We felt the Lord leading us to extend an invitation to 37 Jewish spiritual mothers and 32 Arab spiritual mothers. My friend Chaya Mizrachi, one of the key spiritual Jewish mothers in the nation, is partnering with me in leading this event. When I shared the vision for Deborah’s Clan, she felt a witness in her heart to partner with us. HOPE is inviting the Arab spiritual mothers, and Dugit (directed by Avi & Chaya Mizrachi) are inviting the Jewish spiritual mothers.
We feel this will be a strategic gathering of spiritual mothers, both Jew and Arab, to arise and take their position in the land to birth His purposes. Ultimately, we believe this will lead to the regathering of the children back to the Father.
Deborah’s Clan is going to be a special time of connecting, getting to know one another, praying and worshiping together, and following the leading of the Lord for what He wants us to birth in this season. In addition to the spiritual mothers from the land, we will have a core team of spiritual mothers from the nations who will join us as midwives to help us push through what God is birthing among us.
National Prayer Conference in Grimerud, Norway
It has been a privilege to go back and forth between Norway and Israel for the past 5 years. I was recently invited back to speak for the National Prayer Conference in Grimerud, Norway. There were around 500 people who attended this prayer conference. I was asked if I would share a word I gave to the nation in 2014 as a fulfillment of what God has done.
In Dec 2014, I saw a vision of a balance before me and the right side of the balance was full of burning coals. The left side of the balance had fewer coals that were hardly burning and underneath this side, it was written, “Norway.” Since the right side was full it was heavier than the left side that was lower.
Then I saw a hand begin to take the burning coals from the right side and move them to the left side of the balance where “Norway” was. This continued until both sides were balanced. I believe this was the condition of the altar of prayer in Norway as well as the moral condition of the nation.
On October 22, 2018, the Lord gave me another vision while sitting up on a high place in Norway. As I was overlooking the view of the mountain tops, I saw a palm tree growing on top of mountain peaks in Norway and a menorah blooming on top of this palm tree.
After this vision, the Lord spoke to me from Zechariah 4 about the menorah and the olive trees on each side of it. There are two main oracles in this chapter that I felt the Lord was giving me as a message for Norway. The first oracle was that God’s power would prevail over all the obstacles in rebuilding and maintaining the temple according to His purpose.
“This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the LORD of hosts. ‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel, you shall become a plain and he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”’”
Zechariah 4:6-7
The message of the second oracle, found in verses 8 to 10, was that Zerubbabel would finish the temple. When he finished the temple, it would make clear what God had spoken through Zechariah.
“The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; his hands shall also finish it. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you.”
Zechariah 4:9
Before leaving for Norway, the Lord told me to buy a menorah made of REAL silver and gold to present to the nation with the declaration of these two oracles. To my amazement, the Lord was orchestrating a reconciliation between Ireland and Norway and used the menorah I brought from Israel.
In AD 793, during the Viking Age, Vikings attacked an island Monastery in Northern England. This was the start of many attacks on some of the most central Celtic monasteries throughout England. These attacks caused the end of the Celtic prayer and missions movement; which never recovered.
At the prayer conference, there was an Irish man who had been walking the streets of Norway asking God to heal the wound between Ireland and Norway. He has also been praying for the prayer movement in Ireland to be restored. When he came for the prayer conference, he was given a place to stay with a Norwegian family. Last year they had communion together, but this year they found out some more details about the Viking attacks. After attacking the Irish Celtic Monasteries, the Vikings had stolen gold and silver from them. They later traded them with Israel. The Norwegians had been praying that God would restore to Ireland the gold and silver that had been traded in Israel.
What they did not know was how to get silver and gold from Israel, and they never communicated with me about it. These revelations had only been realized two days before the conference began. When the Norwegian prayer leaders heard about what the Lord had spoken to me, they decided to humbly present the Menorah to the Irish people and ask for forgiveness.
– Rania
The last morning of the conference, before the reconciliation took place, the Lord reminded me of when I was in Bangor, Ireland during Pentecost 2016. There was a gathering in the Valley of Angels where a menorah was presented with a coal from Wales that the fire would not go out in Ireland. They declared that the oil would continue to flow into the menorah of the remnant of believers in Ireland.
There was a lot of rejoicing in how the Lord orchestrated the healing of these two nations. I was amazed at watching the Lord’s sovereign hand, and I was thankful to see Him healing these nations. I also recently learned that there is going to be an upcoming gathering in Bangor in the Valley of Angels this coming Pentecost. There will be 24/7 worship and prayer between the Norwegians and Irish leaders!
February 2019 Women’s & Youth Conference
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and eat with him, and he with me.”
Revelation 3:20
Our good friend Orna Grinman, a Jewish mother in the land, will be speaking and doing the training for us. She is the founder of the ministry Ot Oo’Mofet (Sign & a Wonder). On February 15th we will have an all-day women’s gathering, and we are expecting up to 80-90 to come. The next day, we will have the youth gathering and are expecting 80-90 youth to come as well.
These gatherings will be about forgiveness with the theme, “Who is Knocking at Your Door? How to deal with painful emotions & thoughts so they won’t rule your life.” Rania & Orna will be sharing during these gathering. We have invited all the Arab churches to join for both gatherings.
Dream: Tsunami Warning January 2019
When she woke up from the dream, she knew it this was a real warning. This a warning from the Lord to pray against any possible upcoming earthquakes that could cause a tsunami. On the evening of January 24th, I was in my home with my family, and everything began shaking. A 3.6 magnitude earthquake hit the Nazareth and the Galilee area. We were grateful for God’s protection as no harm has happened to us, our family, or our property.
The day after the earthquake, I was cooking in HOPE and I felt the Holy Spirit show me that as the earthquake was a 3.6 magnitude I should read Ezekiel 36. To my surprise, the next day I received a text from an intercessor whom I have never met. She saw a prayer request I had posted asking for protection from earthquakes over our land, and she had a word to send to me, she also had heard Ezekiel 36 for me. I knew then that there was no doubt God was speaking and connecting the vision of the lion roaring with the earthquake. In fact, when the earthquake happened, we heard a sound outside our home that sounded like thunder or a bomb.
Others heard it too, and reported in the Jerusalem Post
The Lord is highlighting to us that He is on the move. When the lion roars, shakings begin, the Bible says that the heavens and the earth will tremble and shake at the sound of the Lord’s roar. He is also inviting us to partner in intercession against any possible bigger earthquake that will cause a tsunami in our land.
Following the earthquake, the daughter of some good friends of mine who are Jewish leaders in the land of Israel received a warning dream of a coming tsunami hitting the shores of Tel Aviv. So we know that God is really speaking to us, and confirming his word by two or more witnesses.
We covet your prayers to stand as watchmen in the nations to pray for Israel, for protection, and a reversal of any looming crisis in the future that could be caused by an earthquake and result in a tsunami. Please pray with us that God would have mercy on Israel and that the people of the land would return with all their hearts in humility and repentance. For the Lord in His anger always loves mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

December 2018 Love Revolution
During our recent 40-day fast to reignite our love for Jesus, Rania was praying in the House of Prayer and God reminded her of a dream in her heart. The dream was about a love revolution, where Jews and Arabs give roses, instead of hatred, war, bullets or guns, as a symbol of their love for each other. What would happen if all the land began to move and people went out to every city in Israel to do this act of kindness and love?
On December 13th, nine women, both Jewish and Arab, decided that God wanted to use women in this season to birth this Love Revolution. They were used by God as His secret weapon to unlock the hearts of the people by giving these roses as an act of love. All together, they distributed 300 roses in two parts of Jerusalem, near Jaffa Gate in the Old City and the Salah e-Din neighborhood – a neighborhood populated mostly by Arabs. As they went out, they went in groups of two, one Jewish woman and one Arab woman.The team of women that came together, worked together in great unity and harmony. There was so much joy as we went out in the streets together. All who received roses from us received them with such joy! We even caused a traffic jam in Salah e-Din because people were stopping to take a rose.
Love Revolution Testimonies
We had a special encounter with a young boy, named Mohammed, who was about 7 years old. Rania was parking her car in the Salah e-Din neighborhood. As Rania was getting ready to give out the roses, Mohammed approached her and said, “Auntie, can I please have one rose?” Rania said, “Of course! You can have one for sure.” And then he asked for another one, and Rania gave him another one and asked why he wanted a second rose. He responded, “One for me, and one for my mom.” Then he turned around like he was going to leave, but Rania stopped him so she could explain why she was handing out roses. As they talked and Rania shared the Love Revolution vision, they also shared that the love of Jesus Christ is the reason they want to do that. This piqued his interest, and he wanted to know more about Jesus and where He lives. Rania explained that He lives in heaven and that He loves him so much. He was very intrigued that Jesus lives in heaven because he thought no one lives in heaven. And he said, “Is he alive?” Rania explained how Jesus died and resurrected because He is God, and God never dies. By this time, our friend Eman had parked her car and came over to us. She asked Mohammed, “What do you need from Jesus today?” Mohammed explained, with a sad face, “We need everything because we have nothing in our home. I don’t even have money to take the bus back to my mom.” Everyone’s hearts were melting and we were all crying. We gave him some money for the bus, and we laid our hands on him and began praying for him. As we finished the prayer, he told us that he had pain in his feet and he leaned back against the car because of how much pain he was in. Rania began to lead Mohammed in a prayer for healing, which he repeated, and Rania declared over him, “Now you can walk.” As he began to walk and tap his feet on the ground, he looked at Rania with eyes full of shock and told everyone that he had no more pain in his feet. He was so excited! Rania told him that when he gets home to explain to his mom what happened that day. She said to explain, “That he met a woman named Rania who gave him 2 roses, and that Jesus Christ can provide every single need in their home. That they can pray to Him and he will answer your prayers. Just as he did just at this moment, Jesus answered your prayer for money for the bus, 2 roses because He loves you, and He healed your feet. And you can ask Jesus to come and visit you in the night and show you Himself.”
Also during our time in Salah e-Din, we encountered a woman who looked like a woman of authority. One of the Jewish ladies with us, Noa, asked her in English if she can give her a rose. Noa continued to explain what we were doing in English. The woman asked her if she was a Jew? Noa responded yes. The woman said, “Then why don’t you speak to me in Hebrew? I have been waiting for so long for a Jewish person to tell me that they love me in Hebrew!” Noa, of course, began speaking Hebrew to her and told her that she loves her. The two women were so excited to have met each other.
Vision: The Lion & 7 Mountains
“The Lord roars from Zion, and utters his voice from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earthquake. But the Lord is a refuge to his people, a stronghold to the people of Israel.”
Joel 3:16
At the end of our 40 days of fasting that we began on November 11th, and ended December 21st, I saw a vision in our Friday night youth meeting.
We are going to begin to see a move of the Holy Spirit in the land like never before. This is the year 5779, and nine represents the nine gifts of the Spirit and the nine fruits of the Spirit. The Lord is saying that He is going to release the fullness of the Spirit and the seven spirits of God to the land.
“And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.” – Isaiah 11:2
These are the mountains I feel the Lord has been highlighting to me to go and pray on:
* Mount Gilboa
* Mount Precipice
* Mount Carmel
* Mount Gerzim and Ebal
* Mount Zion
* Mount Hermon
* Mount Tabor
I’ve shared the vision with two Jewish women & another Arab woman. The four of us will go to these mountains to pray, to partner with the Lord in prayer and intercession, and to do the prophetic acts He leads us to do. We will see these candlesticks lit up again! The Lord showed me He is about to restore and take back the high places of Israel.
When a lion roars, one of the major things that happens is a shaking that the vibration of his sound creates. It says in Joel 3:16 when the Lord roars there will be shakings and earthquakes. Also, when a lion roars he is claiming back his property and declaring the borders of his dominion. When the Lion of the Tribe of Judah roars, He is declaring victory over His enemies and releasing fear and trembling in the camps of the enemies.
The Lord has highlighted to us Ezekial 6 and 36 when Ezekial prophecies over the mountains of Israel. The Lord is asking His people to turnaround and return to Him with all their hearts. This turning will cause idols to fall first from the hearts of His people, Israel, and then the Lord will be able to take back the mountains. On top of the mountains, often times sacrifices to idols took place. The Lord is wanting to deal with the sin of idolatry, compromise, and complacency amongst His people. He is wanting to take back the high places so that His Name and His Name alone will be lifted up over the nation of Israel.
The candlesticks represent the seven spirits of God on the menorah which is the work and move of the Holy Spirit. The menorah is the symbol of the nation of Israel, and He wants to light up the candles on this menorah again. An enlightenment of the hearts of the people of the land is coming, and the people of this land are going to see their Messiah. He is the only way, the truth, and the light. I believe that God wants to bring a great harvest of Jewish and Arab souls this year. As the Lion roars, He proclaims that no one will touch His people and that they belong to him and him alone!
A call to 40 Days Prayer and Fasting – November 2018
Many of the young people in our community have responded to this call, as well as both Arab and Jewish women from the congregations around Israel. We believe this will be a powerful time to shake off any tiredness and to be reignited with a burning passion to partner with the Lord in prayer & worship. We will push through until there is a breakthrough in our hearts and land!
We would also appreciate your prayers for us here at HOPE as we have gone through many changes in recent days. We have especially had a lot of changes in our staff and would appreciate you covering all those who serve at HOPE in prayer.
We are excited to partner with you all during this time of fasting and prayer!
September 7-8, 2018 Women’s Conference
“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be
preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
1 Thessalonians 5:23
We had a wonderful and powerful time during our women’s conference in September. There were deeper bonds that formed as women from different regions of the nation came together. We were blessed to have 90 women join us, all who are leaders in the Body of Christ here. We focused this conference on an alignment of our spirit, soul, and body. The conference took place at the Legacy Hotel in Nazareth.
Our ministry team consisted of 14 local and international women. We had four speakers: Lilo Keller, Briskilla Zananiri, Elin Fagerbake, and Rania Sayegh. We had three worship leaders: Ruth Fazal, Jesra Andrenaly, and Ikhlas Sadran.
The speakers did a great job bringing into focus the different subjects about alignment. Rania spoke about the importance of alignment and understanding the spirit, soul, and body. Lilo spoke about life in the Spirit, how to renew our mind and the test of love. Elin spoke about our identity as daughters of God. Lastly, Briskilla spoke about sharpening our senses.
During the conference, we did a prophetic act following a vision Rania had during the two days of prayer and preparation before the conference. She saw a vision of women’s heads budding with roses, and it formed the shape of a crown on their heads. We decided to purchase 100 crowns of roses, and we crowned each woman during the conference. As we did this we declared that God is transforming and renewing her mind, that He is crowning her with steadfast love and mercy (Psalm 103:4).
Here are some words that one of the women shared from her experience at the conference:
In this conference, God has moved greatly deep inside my heart. I thought that I had released and forgiven all the people in my life who had hurt me. During the sessions, God kept uncovering a lot of pain that was buried and covered in my heart. As I sat and shared with someone from the ministry team what God was doing in me, I felt the pain begin to diminish as the forgiveness of God grew within me. I began to explode with deep deliverance in my heart! My spirit and soul were set completely free, and I was filled with joy. I was filled with the Holy Spirit. After this release, God began transforming how I view myself and showed me how He sees me.
Dream of Hungry Children – June 2018
A dream Rania had on June 6th 2018:
In my dream, I saw a woman that was laying on a bed, and she looked like she was tired and almost like she was asleep. She was naked and in the sixth month of her pregnancy. Her children were around her and they were hungry. They needed milk but the mother didn’t have any milk flowing from her breast because it was blocked. She had milk, but there was a blockage. Then I saw a man which I did not like and he came to invite me to see this scene. I didn’t like the man because he had a seductive spirit. When I looked into the scene, I saw the woman again. Then the scene changed and a woman, who I consider as a prophetic voice, looked at me and said: “Keep looking forward!” She said it in a very strong voice and militant way.
I believe the Lord is calling me to begin to gather the mothers into the house of prayer to pray and to intercede on behalf of the hungry children that are around. In my journey of working with women, the Lord has shown me many revelations about the significant role mothers play in the land. I believe this is a critical time to be united corporately to strengthen each other in the Lord as well as in intercession.
“Arise, cry out in the night, at the beginning of the watches. Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift your hands toward Him. For the life of your young children, who faint from hunger at the head of every street.”
Lamentations 2:19
I would like to invite you, our family from around the world, to pray with us for the strengthening of mothers and children in this strategic and critical season. I believe we are on the verge of a breakthrough and birthing during the month of September, but we need each one of you to hold our hands in this season to keep pushing forward until the new birthing happens in the land.
